What was your childhood ambition? I wanted to live in New York City and be a famous author! To me, that was the most glamorous lifestyle I could think of. I read books passionately!

What is your wildest dream? If I could, I would travel at least four times a year. I would go to one spot for at least a month so I could really absorb the people, the landscape and everything I could about what makes the country tick.

What time is your alarm clock set to? I don't use my alarm anymore. I'm retired but also, I wake up very early! I love getting up early, when the world is still asleep, and listening to the birds and the quiet.

What is your idea of a perfect day? Without a doubt a summer day at the lake with my daughter and grandsons! Up north here, we get rainy weather, so when the sun shines, we pack up and go without hesitation. I love the beach, swimming, building sand castles, looking for frogs and watching children playing and socializing while I sit in my chair, read a book and visit with my daughter.!

Where do you get design inspiration? Anywhere and everywhere! I take all kinds of photos that I use for my designing; and some magazines have gorgeous layouts and ads. I like the swirls on Ellen Degeneres' ad for her show. I took photos of the presidential Inaugural dance on tv. I see potential everywhere!

What is your favorite indulgence? Hmmm. I have to say a homemade Hot Fudge Sundae. I buy Neilson's ice cream because it's dense and creamy. Then I make my own hot fudge sauce. I pour the sauce over the ice cream while it's still hot. The combination of cold ice cream, melted ice cream and chocolatey sauce satisfies all my cravings!

What is your favorite TV Show? I don't really have a favorite, but I like a show called "Life" right now. It's quirky and funny and a detective show to boot.

What food do you dislike? I am pretty adventurous when it comes to food. My worst memory of a dislike is being forced to eat cooked carrots and my mom's Tuna Chow Mein. I would never make Tuna Chow Mein, but I like cooked carrots now!

What characteristic do you despise? Passive aggression!

What is your favorite item of clothing? Quite boring, my at-home comfy pants.

What was your most memorable birthday? My 50th! Things just got better and better!

Are you a morning or night person? Morning! See # 2 above.

What is your favorite iTune? Right now I love Duffy's first album, Rockferry.

Would you bungee jump? No. lol

What is your favorite ice cream flavor? Butter Pecan, Neilson's is the best!

What is the first thing you notice about a person?Their eyes! I see beauty in most people's eyes, and I love getting great eye shots with all the glints and depths.
  Biography
I'm a mother and grandmother and now retired. In the little time left over from scrapping, I enjoy gardening and playing with the grands. I swim for the love of it, and to stay in shape. I was given a version of Photoshop, and in looking for tutorials I discovered digital scrapbooking. I had been scrapping digitally for about 6 months when I became interested in designing. I was hooked and decided to take some courses to help me with the basics of designing elements and papers. By the time I had finished the courses designing was ALL I wanted to do! I find inspiration everywhere, and just 'have' to try making new things. I still love making layouts too, and it's fun to create a layout with what I make to show how I visualize uses for the kit.
